Pair of 1950s Beswick "Green Fingers" china dishes

These lovely dishes in Beswick's "Green Fingers" range remind me of happy days spent in the garden in the sun.

Diameter is 17.5cm.

They are in essentially perfect condition for their age - please see photos. No chips or cracks. 

In the 1950s Beswick produced some delightful china ranges on themes including ballet, circus, gardening and birds. These sweet pieces are highly sought-after, either to use or display.

Beswick China was established by John Wright Beswick in 1894 at the Gold Street Works in Longton, Stoke-on Trent, UK. Beswick was sold to Royal Doulton in 1969, and production was continued until 2002 when manufacturing ceased. The Gold Street works was demolished in 2003.
