Contact, FAQs, Delivery

I work from a studio in the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, where the little dog from the stables next door wanders in most days, and owls hoot in the surrounding woods every evening. I am excited every time I get my hands in clay, and that enthusiasm continues throughout the weeks of work that go into each piece.

  • Is your pottery safe in the dishwasher and microwave? Yes, although this is at your own discretion. Many customers choose to handwash ceramics. Please be aware that pottery often responds differently to heat compared with commercial crockery - for example, we don't recommend heating in the microwave and then serving all from the same bowl, as the bottom may be too hot.

  • How is the pottery packaged? It will be packaged in bubble wrap, recycled paper, and cardboard boxes. Most of the packaging is recycled, so please don't expect fancy wrapping! If your piece is going straight to a recipient and you would like it gift-wrapped instead, please get in touch at the time of purchase. Please also reuse the packaging.
  • How long will my piece take to arrive? Unless otherwise specified, your piece will be posted within a couple of days. Packages are sent using Royal Mail signed for second class; if you require your piece to be expedited, please get in touch at the time of purchase.
  • I live outside the UK. Can I buy anything? Of course! Please get in touch at the time of purchase and I will give you an adjusted postage price. Your piece will be posted within the fortnight timescale, but I can't guarantee how long it will take to reach you (especially post-Brexit) - if you want to pay for a specific delivery service, that can also be arranged.
  • Do you take commissions? Occasionally I have availability for commissions so please email me. Commissioned work has a minimum order value of £199, can take up to ten weeks, and items will typically cost 20% more than similar items already made.
  • Please email caztravels@hotmail.co.uk with any questions.
